Naya Rivera has been reported missing after taking her 4-year-old son boating on Lake Piru. The Ventura County Sheriff’s office is calling it a “tragic accident,” as fans pray that she will return safely.

The incident is being investigated as a possible drowning. Deputy Chris Dyer said in a news conference Thursday morning, “We hope for the best, we prepare for the worst.”

The “Glee” actress went missing on Wednesday after failing to return a boat pass the 3-hour rental time. Both Naya and her son, Josey, we’re seen out on Lake Piru, located in Fillmore, CA. Detectives interviewed the young boy who stated he and his mother went swimming together, but she never got back on the boat. Josey was wearing a life jacket, while the adult vest was still on the boat.

Fans and fellow actors are sending prayer and positivity hoping for a safe return…
