August Alsina Speaks His “Truth” After Jada Pinkett-Smith Denies Relationship

August Alsina is speaking his truth … again.

After Jada Pinkett-Smith denied his claim that they were in a relationship and her husband Will Smith gave his “blessing” Alsina posted a lengthy message on Instagram. In the long post he covered many topics and ideas, including tradition and perception, all the while never mentioning Jada or Will’s name.

“I get it; not only do i get it but I’m also sorry you feel that way, BUT, The only attack here is against the invisible walls of silent societal construct and ‘code’ we place upon each other & upon ourselves hidden behind the desires of others approval & acceptance,” he said in the message posted on Friday.

Alsina added that he thinks “Truth & Transparency makes us uncomfortable,” but stated he “can’t apologize for that.”

He also said “My truth is MY truth, & its mine to own. There is no right or wrong here, it simply just IS,” basically, double downing on his previous claims.

He wrapped up his post by claiming that when he did his interview with Angela Yee, “Everyone got courtesy calls time in advance.”

Jada hasn’t responded to August’s latest comments, but she hinted on Thursday that she will be addressing this matter in the near future. “There’s some healing that needs to happen…so I’m bringing myself to The Red Table,” she tweeted.

As previously reported, Alsina sat down with Angela Yee for an in depth interview discussing his new album “The Product III: stateofEMERGEncy,” and also spoke about his love life.

When asked what was the real situation with Pinkett-Smith, Alsina admitted to being deeply in love with Jada and said he spoke to her husband Will about his feelings.

“I actually sat down with Will and had a conversation, due to the transformation from their marriage to life partnership – that they’ve spoken on several times. And it not involving romanticism – He gave me his blessing – I totally gave myself to that relationship for years of my life,” he said.

Both Jada and Will through their reps have denied any and all claims.
