Deyjah Still Facing Hymen-Gate … How Sister Zonnique Is Helping Her Through It

Deyjah Harris is reliving the embarrassing “hymen-gate” all over again while it plays out on “T.I. & Tiny’s Friends and Family Hustle” — and unfortunately it’s probably a re-traumatizing event.

A while back, T.I. hopped his happy self on the internet practically bragging about the fact that he accompanies his teenage daughter to the gynecologist to ensure her hymen is in tact (falsely equating that to virginity). Of course, the incident cause Deyjah unimaginable pain and embarrassment, but now we’re all seeing what happened behind the scenes as it was all going on.

The family was on vacation while hymen-gate was trending on social media, and although she was in close proximity to her father, Deyjah felt uncomfortable expressing her feelings to him.

Thankfully, the 19-year-old has a supportive family full of women ready to be there for her. Her grandmother (T.I.’s mother) and her cousins sat down with her during taping to make sure she felt the love. HH also caught up with Deyjah’s older sister Zonnique who opened up about how she’s able to support her little sis through the toughest times.

Hopefully, Deyjah is able to heal and move forward with a positive and respectful relationship with her father — one where he understands boundaries.
