10 Years Sounds Like A Choice — Kanye Signs Decade Deal With Gap!
Well, this is a full circle moment. Kanye West, who once rapped about working the grave-shift at Gap in his younger years and being their “token blackie”, is now teaming up with the retailer to bring his Yeezy aesthetic to the brand.
10 years is a looooong time to sign a deal with one brand, but that’s exactly what West just did with Gap. By taking his Yeezy brand and linking up with Gap, Ye is planning a new line of apparel for men, women and kids called Yeezy Gap. The line will NOT include his ever-popular sneakers.
On Friday the rapper tweeted his excitement with #WestDayEver. He also gave fans a glimpse at what the line could look like.

According to the NY Times, the 10-year deal has an option to renew after five years. Gap is hoping this partnership will boost their fledgling brand, while West is hype to expand his brand in thousands of stores worldwide. In addition, West is expected to receive royalties and potential equity related to sales achievement.
In a statement, Gap revealed fans could see the products in stores and online early next year. But, the real question is, will you be buying it?
