Internet Thinks Iggy Azalea Had PlayBoi Carti's Baby

Are congratulations in order for Iggy Azalea and Playboi Carti? Rumors have been swirling for days that the couple secretly welcomed a baby last week. Several outlets, including Daily Mail, alleged that Azalea, 29, and Playboi, 23, now have a son together, according to sources close to the couple.

Neither Iggy (real name Amethyst Kelly) nor Playboi (real name Jordan Terrel Carter) have confirmed or denied the baby news.

On Monday Iggy made a rare appearance on her Instagram stories. She posted a selfie video but didn’t address the alleged baby news. She also didn’t show her full body.

The last time she posted a photo on the gram was in December. Around that same time Hollywood Unlocked alleged she was 6 months pregnant. Her response? A picture showing off her toned abs and flat tummy. She captioned the bikini pic : Wish you were here.

Per the internet, Iggy gave birth on April 30th. DJ Akademiks told his 2.8 million Instagram followers that he heard from a reliable source that the Australian born MC had a baby over the weekend.

He posted a pic of the pair with a caption that read ‘Congrats to Iggy Azalea and Playboi Carti on the birth [of] their son this weekend.’

He also told his fans: “Talked to some ppl… allegedly this is true. Congrats to #playboicarti and #iggyazalea if it is.”

The couple have been dating since 2018, and live together in Atlanta, GA. There were also rumors that they got engaged last year in July when Iggy was spotted rocking a huge diamond ring. In November the couple reported that some $366,000 worth of jewelry was stolen from their Atlanta home including diamond eternity band rings worth $70,000 and a $35,000 diamond engagement ring.

In recent weeks Carti has also been MIA on social media. Last month he was arrested in Clayton County, Georgia in connection with weapons and drug possession.
