Garcelle Beauvais Revealed She Dated Will Smith Before He Married Jada

Garcelle Beauvais just revealed she once dated Will Smith. The gag is she made the revelation in front his ex-wife Sheree Zampino … but apparently she already knew.

In a recent episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Beauvais got together with a group of five female friends, including Zampino, to catch up. During the girl chat Zampino shared that she has a great co-parenting relationship with her ex-husband Will.

“Will and I, when we got divorced, we have never had a relationship that doesn’t have Trey at the center of it,” she said, referring to their 27-year-old son.

After Beauvais paused, Zampino laughed and said “You can say it,” giving her permission to share her secret.

“He was hot,” Garcelle noted in her confessional. “He was a Bachelor, I was single, you know, it happens in Hollywood.”

Garcelle also played Smith’s love interest in the action film Wild Wild West which released in 1999.  Smith and Zampino divorced in 1995 after 3 years of marriage. He married Jada Pinkett-Smith in 1997.

As you know, Beauvais is the first Black woman to join the cast. Since her debut she’s been throwing shade and spilling tea and we’re here for it. During the episode she also spoke about her ex-husband Mike Nilon, with whom she shares 12-year-old twins Jaid and Jaxon. The twosome split in 2010 after Beauvais discovered Nilon had an affair.

“I thought I married a person who would have my back and to find out that he was cheating, there were no signs for me. I was blindsided,” Beauvais said.

Before marrying Nilon, Beauvais also shared that she had a brief romance with Jamie Foxx. It was while she starred on The Jamie Foxx and it was more flirtation than a fling. Beauvais said while their was a strong attraction they made a pact not to date during the show.

“There was definitely a lot of chemistry but we made a pact that we weren’t going to jeopardize our jobs and do any thing foolish,” she explained while on Dennis Quaid’s podcast The Dennissance.
