Samuel L. Jackson Urges People To ‘Stay The F–k At Home’
We all know Samuel L. Jackson is the king of the f-bomb. So it’s no surprise his message to folks during the coronavirus quarantine is full of expletives.
During an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on Tuesday night, the “Snakes on a Plane” actor read aloud from Adam Mansbach’s new book “Stay The F–K At Home.”
In 2011 a video of Jackson reading Mansbach’s bestselling book “Go the F–k to Sleep,” went viral. Now the two have teamed up again, this time imploring everyone to stay home and help flatten the curve of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Now technically I’m not a doctor, but most motherfuckers listen when I read a poem, so here I am, Sam fucking Jackson, imploring you: keep your ass at home,” he read in between bleeps.
This also isn’t the first time Jackson repurposed a viral reading of “Go the F–k to Sleep.” In 2012 he produced a re-election campaign ad for then-President Barack Obama in which he implored people to “Wake the f–k up” and vote for him for a second term.
Jackson like the rest of the world is staying home with his family. He filmed his chat with Kimmel from his home theater where he says he’s been watching Tiger King with his daughter. He also revealed he and bestie Magic Johnson are canceling their annual vacation to Italy because of the coronavirus.
