Pandemic Proposal: Jeezy & Jeannie Mai Engaged … See How Their Love Evolved!

Congrats to Jeannie Mai and Jeezy — in the midst of a coronavirus crisis they’re showing love conquers all. The couple has revealed they got engaged last month!

We’ve seen the couple get closer and closer over the last year few months. They’ve been dating since November 2018, when they met on the set of “The Real”, but just took their love public last August. And now, less than two years later, the rapper and the talk show host have made it super official.

Jeezy pop the question on March 27th while at Jeannie’s home, but as People explains, it wasn’t what he had initially planned.

“Jeannie and Jay were set for a trip to Vietnam this April. What Jeannie didn’t know is that Jay was planning to propose,” Mai’s rep tells PEOPLE. “Instead, Jay decided to bring Vietnam to Jeannie with a surprise quarantine date night in his home filled with Vietnamese food and decor.”

Of course, Mai said yes, and honestly we’re not surprised. They two have been #couplegoals for a minute now with the picture perfect IG snapshots.

They first stepped out in August 2019 at Jeezy’s Street Dreamz Foundation event…
