How Fans Are Mourning Nipsey Hussle One Year After His Death
It’s hard to believe it’s been a year since we lost Nipsey Hussle. The late rapper was gunned down in front of his The Marathon clothing store on March 31, 2019 — and honestly, since then, thing have not been the same.
To mourn the loss of the late great Nip is even more complicated given the current coronavirus crisis. It forces his fans to reflect on his life while in self-isolation, as opposed to coming together and celebrating in the streets where everyone could remember his lasting legacy together, as one.
However, the feeling of collectiveness has erupted on Twitter where #LongLiveNip is trending and fans are showing their love though words, photos, videos, and of course, music.
