“Say My Name” — Jordan Peele Takes Another Chart-Topper And Makes It Creepy In “Candyman”
Just last year, Jordan Peele took one of our fave hits, “I Got 5 On It”, and made it creepy AF for his film “Us”. And now, here we are again — another banger, another frightening remix.
The trailer for Peele’s “Candyman” sequel just hit the internet and it brings back all those frightful fears from the original 1992 film. This iteration stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Teyonah Parris, Nathan Stewart-Jarrett, Colman Domingo, and Tony Todd returns as the title character. But, this time around, Peele adds a new layer of terror backed by one of Destiny’s Child’s most famous songs — “Say My Name” #chefskiss.
