Eminem FINALLY Performs “Lose Yourself” At The Oscars And Fans Lose It!

18 years ago Eminem won an Academy Award for Best Original Song for “Lose Yourself” from the film 8 Mile. It’s customary for nominated songs to be performed during the big show, however, Em opted not to. Fast-forward to 2020 where he emerged from the ground, took the stage, and stunned the crowd by performing the massive hit!

The best kept secret from the entire night happened as Lin Manuel Miranda introduce a video montage of the impact music has had on the movies over the years. The video ended with clips of Eminem in “8 Mile” preparing for his “lose Yourself” moment — then Em actually emerged in real life.
