All The Tea On Amber Rose’s New Man Alexander Edwards

It looks like Amber Rose has already moved on from her relationship with NBA player Monte Morris. According to reports Amber is now dating music executive Alexander Edwards and apparently he’s besties with her BFF’s baby daddy Tyga.

Now we know what you’re thinking — didn’t she and Blac Chyna fall out? Not according to TMZ.  The site reported on Monday that Blac and Rose are still friends (despite Blac being a no show at Rose’s SlutWalk) and she and Tyga approve of Rose’s new boo. So what else do we know?

Edwards works for Def Jam Records

Edwards is Vice President of A&R for the record label. He joined the label in April of 2018 after working with Tyga and his Last Kings Records in the past. He most recently help sign 18-year-old YK Osiris  to Def Jam.

The Couple Have Been Together For Weeks

Sources tell TMZ that Amber has known “A.E.” since Tyga and her close friend Blac Chyna were together a few years back. They didn’t start dating until a couple weeks ago and took their romance public at Amber’s 4th annual SlutWalk event this past weekend. The two were spotted kissing each other, and then again later at the club that night.

He Has Collaborated On Music With Tyga

A.E. and Tyga along with being best friends also have been frequent music collaborators. The duo have collaborated on songs such as “Good or Bad”, “Don’t C me coming” and most recently Tyga’s hit “Taste”. Tyga even shouts out his BFF on the track rapping: Like my n*&&a A.E. say, yadadamean. A.E. has also gone on tour with Tyga and was even on an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

Started Out As A Rapper

In less than 10 years Edwards made his way from being a local rapper to becoming an executive of a major record label. Edwards began his rap career in rap groups such as 4Deep and THE A’z. Edwards grew up in North Oakland and sites the late Tupac Shakur as his musical “mentor”.

Started His Own Label

During his time as a rapper, Edwards also started his own label Gloryus which began as a recording company and expanded to include clothing. When asked what the name meant, he told blog TinyTeeIsBomb, “Glorious means; having, worthy of, or bring fame, or admiration. Having a striking beauty, or splendor that evokes feelings of delighted admiration. So I flipped the ious to us. A lot of rappers now are about me. I’m about we (us).”
