Another day, another NON-Black person trying to say ni**a. We ask ‘when will they ever learn’, knowing good and well they never will.
If you’ve been keeping up with Love & Hip Hop Miami then you know all to well about Veronica Vega and her controversial ways. Well this week she decided to up the ante and attempt to explain why she chooses ton use the n-word in her music although she is a Latina woman. We’ll just let her tell her side of the story…
Well, you already know Twitter wasn’t having it. They popped of with the quickness leaving her edge deprived of all baby hair.
And if you’re like this last girl and you’re wondering why Trina didn’t check her fellow rapper, well, it’s because she doesn’t “think it’s a big deal.” In 2011, Trina had this to say about white rapper Kreayshawn using the n-word all willy nilly. “I don’t see what the big deal about it is,” Trina said an interview with BET.com. “It’s a matter of respect, if you’re not being disrespectful, if you’re not doing it in a racist way…I’m not really the person that care’s too much about all that.” The self-professed Baddest B!tch went on to say, “I don’t think the N-word is such a big deal, we’ve been saying it for years, decades, white, blacks, Hispanic, Jamaican, Haitian, Chinese whatever. It is what it is, we didn’t create it, we didn’t start it and we’re not going to be the last to say it. It’s going to continue on and on and on so we just need to focus on what’s important.”
Hmmm… What are your thoughts?
