It’s a big weekend for Black films! If you don’t plan on going out to see Black Panther this holiday weekend, then you might want to consider catching Jordan Peel’s Get Out — FOR FREE!

It’s been one year since the release of the multi-Academy Award nominated film, and now, fans can see the movie for free at select AMC Theaters. At 7pm in 55 locations, including theaters in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Los Angeles, Miami, Nashville, Philadelphia, San Diego, Washington, D.C., the movie will screen at no cost.

In a video message posted on Twitter, Peele said this was a “small thank you to the fans who made the film a success” and that he wanted to “give something back.”

“It’s all about that theatrical experience, so please go, enjoy it with other people, get ready to use your voices,” he said. “I don’t care if you’ve seen it one time, two times, three times, if you bring somebody who’s never seen it and you watch them watch it — whatever. You get to enjoy a free screening of Get Out this President’s Day.”

Tickets are first come first serve and can be picked up on Monday when box offices in your city open.
