“February’s a great month for me.” That’s what Tisha Campbell-Martin told HH during an interview and we’d have to say we agree.
A new song, a starring role in a TV movie and a guest appearance on “Empire” are just a few of the things Ms. Tisha has going on this month. When we caught up with her, she was rehearsing dance moves at Millennium Dance Company and invited us in for a peak. At 49-years-old the actress didn’t miss a beat and is clearly thrilled about bringing her fans new music. Revealing that this time around fans will get “the truth”, Campbell-Martin stressed the importance of being open with her followers and being authentic. He new single “Don’t Want To Be Alone” is available now!
Tisha is also back on the small screen starring as Simone Biles’ grandmother (who raised her and is called her mother) in the Lifetime biopic “The Simone Biles Story: Courage To Soar”. It’s a role that the triple-threat connected with through her real life experience as a mother to a child with special needs. While at Tisha’s dance master class, the actress that plays Simone in the biopic, Jeanté Godlock, also stopped by to lend support. Check out our interview with both of them, plus Tisha’s dance moves, below.
