Exclusive: Tisha Campbell-Martin Is Ready To Tell “The Truth” About Her Life!

“February’s a great month for me.” That’s what Tisha Campbell-Martin told HH during an interview and we’d have to say we agree.

A new song, a starring role in a TV movie and a guest appearance on “Empire” are just a few of the things Ms. Tisha has going on this month. When we caught up with her, she was rehearsing dance moves at Millennium Dance Company and invited us in for a peak. At 49-years-old the actress didn’t miss a beat and is clearly thrilled about bringing her fans new music. Revealing that this time around fans will get “the truth”, Campbell-Martin stressed the importance of being open with her followers and being authentic. He new single “Don’t Want To Be Alone” is available now!

Tisha is also back on the small screen starring as Simone Biles’ grandmother (who raised her and is called her mother) in the Lifetime biopic “The Simone Biles Story: Courage To Soar”. It’s a role that the triple-threat connected with through her real life experience as a mother to a child with special needs. While at Tisha’s dance master class, the actress that plays Simone in the biopic, Jeanté Godlock, also stopped by to lend support. ‘Annihilation’s’ Leading Ladies Use Intense Military Training As Bonding Experience

Annihilation is one hell of a visually stunning sci-fi film with five female leads on an expedition to uncover the mysterious phenomenon that is expanding across the American coastline.

For Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson and Gina Rodriguez, the film, which also lends a voice to what is being called the year of the woman, dressing in head to toe military gear and going through tactical training was a bonding experience.

“”t was really fun. It’s weird to say that. But to have all these women in military training together, where we had to do these exercises … it was a great bonding experience with each other.” Portman told us.

And although the women had the opportunity to use real guns, firearms is not something the ladies of Hollywood advocate. “I’m anti gun to be honest,” Rodriguez said. “I say no guns. There’s no reason for people to have guns especially when you have these,” she said while holding up her firsts.

This past week Gina has been very vocal via social media about gun legislation and the idea behind policy and change following the tragic high school massacre an Parkland, Florida.
Annihilation, also starring Oscar Isaac, hits theaters on February 23.
