Why Folks Think Rihanna Is Engaged + 4 Men Who Probably Would’ve Proposed

Is Rihanna engaged? The singer sparked engagement rumors on Wednesday night after being spotted out in New York with a nice sparkler on her ring finger.

The Barbadian beauty, clad in a colorful jacket, was spotted at Chris Rock’s show rocking the stunning ring. But it was the Daily Mail, who captured a photo of the bling up close and personal.

If the star is prepping to get hitched, it’s wildly unclear who the lucky guy is. Although, last rumor had it, the 29-year-old was still seemingly smitten over her Saudi Arabian beaux, Hassan Jameel.

At last report, things were still hot and brewing between Ri and the Toyota heir. But did he pop the question? Time will only tell.

Rihanna, meanwhile, has had no problems in the man department — well, if you don’t count her toxic relationship with Chris Brown. (But we won’t digress) Here are three-ish other men who most likely considered locking the beauty down.

Drake: Drake has made it known on several occasions that even after their pseudo and very private whirlwind romance, he is still madly in love with Rihanna. During the 2016 MTV VMAs, the rapper revealed to the world that “Today the world knows Little X as Director X, they know me as Drake and not the kid singing as you order pasta. But 11 years later they still all know Rihanna as the one and only Rihanna. She’s someone I’ve been in love with since I was 22 years old.”

Matt Barnes: A few years back, NBA player, Matt Barnes, unveiled that he and the Barbadian bombshell were slowing building a relationship; but according to the singer, that was a lie. Honestly, it was unclear who was telling the truth, but there is no doubt Barnes would have loved to lock Ri down if given the chance. “Rihanna is my friend right now, so we’ll see where it goes,” he said at the time. “It just passed the crush stage a little bit.”

Matt Kemp: Good ol’ Matt Kemp, the man most women would LOVE to settle in with. But it was Rihanna who could have had Kemp to herself, unfortunately, their picture perfect romance didn’t last. The two started dating in 2010, but after almost a year together, the pair called it quits.

And we can’t forget about her most publicized romance, Chris Brown: Brown and Rihanna dated on and off for years, even after the horrendous 2009 assault on the Rihanna. But despite a felony charge and major public scrutiny, it was Ri who still decided to take the singer back for yet another round.

Speaking to Vanity Fair in 2015, RiRi explained that “Maybe I’m one of those people built to handle sh*t like this. Maybe I’m the person who’s almost the guardian angel to this person, to be there when they’re not strong enough, when they’re not understanding the world, when they just need someone to encourage them in a positive way and say the right thing.”

When asked if she could change him? “A hundred percent,” Badgalriri answered. “I was very protective of him. I felt that people didn’t understand him.”

She added, “I was very protective of him. I felt that people didn’t understand him.”

Serena Williams Almost Died During Child Birth – 3 Shocking Details Behind Tennis Pro’s Complications

Serena Williams gave birth to a healthy baby girl on September 1, 2017 and is now a happy mother to a perfect bundle of joy. But what fans didn’t know was that the tennis superstar almost died during child birth.

In an op-ed piece for CNN, the mother of one opened up about complications she had while delivering her first child, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. Here are three shocking details the athlete is now unveiling.

1. According to Williams, she had an emergency C-section after the baby’s heart rate dropped dramatically during contractions. “It began with a pulmonary embolism, which is a condition in which one or more arteries in the lungs becomes blocked by a blood clot,” Williams wrote. “This sparked a slew of health complications that I am lucky to have survived.”

2. “My C-section wound popped open due to the intense coughing I endured as a result of the embolism. I returned to surgery, where the doctors found a large hematoma, a swelling of clotted blood, in my abdomen. And then I returned to the operating room for a procedure that prevents clots from traveling to my lungs.”

3. When Serena “finally made it home to my family, I had to spend the first six weeks of motherhood in bed.”

In the article posted on CNN’s website, Williams opened up about studies that prove “Black women in the United States are over three times more likely to die from pregnancy or childbirth-related causes.”
