Terry Crews Files Police Report Over Alleged Sexual Assault

Published

on

It was just one month ago that Terry Crews came out and claimed he too had been sexually assaulted by a Hollywood executive, and now, that very confession has led to the actor filing a police report.

On the heels of the Harvey Weinstein sexual assault controversy, Crews took to Twitter back in October to suggest that while he and his wife were at a Hollywood event, a powerful executive “came over 2 me and groped my privates.”

Crews has since gone to LAPD to file a report against the alleged predator. When talking to paparazzi outside the police department this week, the actor confirmed that he plans on filing a civil lawsuit.

According to TMZ, the name on the suit is Adam Venit, who is head of the motion picture group at William Morris Endeavor. Venit has reportedly been placed on leave while the agency and officials investigate.

Crews has kept details regarding the suit under wraps, but the actor did post a prayer emoji via Twitter in response to one of the many reports.
