Shemar Moore Spills The Tea On Phony Phaedra Parks And Those Dating Rumors

Published

on

It looks like Phaedra Parks has been caught in a another lie.  A week after sparking rumors that Shemar Moore was her “bae”, the hunky actor is calling BS on those claims.

Moore cleared the air, telling E! News that he’s single as a dollar bill and hasn’t seen Parks since their appearance on Andy Cohen’s show Watch What Happens Live over a year ago.

“This thing, it’s crazy to me. I just woke up, like, last week and everybody’s like, ‘Phaedra, Phaedra, Phaedra.’ And look, I met Phaedra doing a nighttime talk show with Andy Cohen and Andy Cohen does this thing late at night and he likes to get you to drink. And so you’re loose and you have fun on his show.”

“So I walked in and I saw Phaedra and I know who Phaedra — I’ve heard of Phaedra and she was looking like… and so she looked at me and I kinda had this sense of like, ‘Oh, she thinks I’m the guy from “The Young and the Restless,” or ‘She thinks I’m a certain Shemar.’ And I said, ‘Well, I’m gonna introduce you to a different kind of Shemar,'” Shemar went on to say. “So I just decided to have a good time and she was such a good sport and we played and we flirted and we got our little kissy face on. And then that went viral and that’s the first and the last time that I’ve ever seen or met Phaedra.”

Parks apparently is either delusional or has some time on her hands since being booted from The Real Housewives of Atlanta for spreading those lies about her co-star Kandi Burruss. Last week she posted the photo below on her Instagram account with the caption, “The look on #bae face when you tell him tonight is your night.”

Haters of course think the picture is photoshopped, but in her defense it could have been taken the night of their WWHL appearance. So it’s not a complete lie … right????

5 Reasons You Need To Know Daveed Diggs

Published

on

If you don’t know the name Daveed Diggs you will now! The Oakland native is definitely one to watch in Hollywood. Here are five reasons why.

1. He has already taken Broadway by storm.

In 2016 Diggs nabbed a Tony and a Grammy award for his role as Marquis de Lafayette/ Thomas Jefferson in “Hamilton.” Believe it or not Diggs didn’t even audition for the role. While substitute teaching in Marin County, CA he met Hamilton’s eventual star and creator Lin Manuel-Miranda and director, Thomas Kail who invited him to join their free-style rap group and later helped them craft the fast-rapping revolutionary.

2. He’s funny.

Diggs is proving he’s also got some amazing comedy chops with two memorable recurring sitcom roles: one as Perry, the crush du jour for Kimmy (Ellie Kemper) on Netflix’s Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and the other on ABC’s black-ish as Johan, the free-spirited brother of Rainbow (Tracee Ellis Ross). In fact, Black-ish creator Kenya Barris wrote the role for Diggs after being “blown away” by his performance on stage.

3. His first feature film Wonder is in theaters now.

In the film based on the New York Times best-selling novel of the same name, Diggs plays Mr. Browne the fifth grade teacher at the school where lead Jacob Tremblay attends. Diggs landed the role after wrapping his run in “Hamilton” and told HH it was like a crash course in film acting alongside Julia Roberts and Owen Wilson.

4. He’s a rapper.

His experimental noise rap group Clipping has garnered a major cult following on Youtube. Their LP CLPPNG was an Album Of The Week back in 2014. And in 2016 the trio performed on The Late Late Show with James Corden to promote the release of their six-track EP Wriggle.

5. He is executive producer of ABC’s The Mayor.

The show about a struggling young rapper (Brandon Micheal Hall) who runs for local office (and wins) to boost his popularity, debuted this Fall and already is garnering wave reviews. Not surprisingly Diggs and his Clipping bandmates William Hutson and Jonathan Snipes, also produce all the music for the show.
