Donald Trump miraculously has nothing better to do with his time as the President of the United States than to attack ESPN anchor, Jemele Hill.
On Monday, it was announced that Hill would be suspended for two weeks following her controversial tweet about Dallas Cowboys owner, Jerry Jones, threatening to bench players who knelt during the National Anthem.
In the tweet which led to the host’s suspension, Hill suggested Jones “created a problem for his players, specifically the black ones. If they don’t kneel, some will see them as sellouts.”
Following ESPN’s decision to discipline the long time sports anchor, Trump, who has been pushing people to boycott the NFL, took to Twitter to further attack the host.
“With Jemele Hill at the mike, it is no wonder ESPN ratings have ‘tanked,’ in fact, tanked so badly it is the talk of the industry,” he wrote.
There are a slew of other issues The Donald should and could be discussing; instead, he is busy blasting Hill for doing what he does every single day.
Folks have now started a viral campaign to “stand with Jemele.”
