As friends and families mourn and the world continues to grasp for understanding following this week’s Las Vegas massacre, Jennifer Lopez is canceling her upcoming “Jennifer Lopez: All I Have” concerts in the city.
Out of respect for the victims of Sunday night’s tragedy, Lopez will be postponing her next three shows at The AXIS at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. The shows were originally scheduled for Oct. 4, 6, and 7.
Per a statement released by her team, ticket holders can expect to be contacted by Ticketmaster and the Axis box office for refunds. The other option would be for fans to exchange tickets for her shows from Feb. 21 through June 9, 2018.
“Jennifer is heartbroken that such a senseless tragedy occurred,” the statement also read. “Her thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families.”
Following the massacre, which killed 59 people and injured 520 more, Lopez tweeted that she loves Vegas and that she’s “feeling so broken.”
Jason Aldean was performing at the Route 91 Harvest music festival on Sunday night when 64-year-old Stephen Paddock opened fire from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay. The senseless attack is being called the deadliest mass shooting in US history.
