Female Reporter Cam Newton Dissed Enjoys Racism, Using The N-Word

Published

Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton is being shredded for making a sexist remark during a team press conference on Wednesday. Jourdan Rodrigue of the Charlotte Observer asked Newton about wide receiver Devin Funchess embracing “the physicality of his routes.” That prompted a smirking Cam to say, “It’s funny to hear a female talk about routes.”

When no one laughed and the room went silent, Cam continued, “It’s funny.” Jourdan says Cam has yet to address the incident with her in private. “I sought Mr. Newton out as he left the locker room a few minutes later. He did not apologize.”

Folks on social media have been quick to challenge Cam for his words while others have had his back.

Interestingly enough, the reporter up in arms over Cam shading her is a huge fan of racism, and doesn’t mind using the n-word on social media. Jourdan may have deleted these tweets by now, but thankfully someone screen grabbed them. In one series, she reveals just how much she enjoys her racist father making jokes about native Americans. “My dad is being super racist as pass through Navajo land. He’s the best. Racist jokes the whole drive home.” If that’s not disgusting enough, she posted another a tweet using the n-word. “The earth moves at 450+mph that’s 10 times triller than NASCAR. DALE EARNHART’S A BITCH NIGGA.”

White privilege at its finest.

Sometimes in social media formats such as Twitter, Facebook, Yelp, etc, people express their disapproval or exasperation of something through something known as “sarcasm.” This is especially true of younger people in their 20’s or 30’s. The older generation might remember following such sarcastic statements with the word “NOT!” For example: “This hamburger is the best. NOT!”

The younger generation omits the NOT, and frequently will write things such as “_____ is the best” while actually meaning that ______ is NOT the best. This is often exhibited by the younger generation as they express exasperation towards the older generation, particularly their parents.

You will see this sort of humor far, far more frequently than you will see someone express earnest admiration of another person actually being racist.

Music’s most amazing night went down Sunday at the Microsoft Theater in L.A. and we have to say the night was all about the ladies!

That’s right the 45th American Music Awards had some major moments and some major girl power starting with Pink and Kelly Clarkson.

The duo got the show started singing R.E.M.’s “Everybody Hurts”, but it was their solo performances that had fans going nuts.

Kelly Clarkson returned to the stage and had everyone on their feet with a medley of her classic tracks and new single “Love So Soft.”

While Pink took her career to new heights leaping off the side of a building while performing her hit single “Beautiful Trauma.”

Christina Aguilera, paid tribute to Whitney Houston with a commemorative performance for the 25th anniversary of The Bodyguard.

But the #Majah moment of the night had to be Diana Ross. The Motown legend was given the Lifetime Achievement Award, and performed some of her greatest hits before accepting the honor.
