In case you thought Jada Pinkett Smith wasn’t about that life, she just proved she has way more street cred than you thought!

During an appearance on SiriusXM’s “Sway in The Morning” JPS opened up about how she met rapper Tupac Shakur. It just so happens that they crossed paths on the corner while she was selling that dope. “When I first met Pac, when we first met, I was a drug dealer,” Smith told host Sway. “Then as I was coming out, something very bad happened to me. As I was coming out of the life, he was coming more into the life … Pac and I’s relationship was about survival,” Jada went on to clarify.

The Girl’s Trip actress says she had never told that part of their story before but now it gives folks a little more context into the relationship; one that she reiterated wasn’t sexual, but all about survival.

“I Cried A Lot”: Snoop Dogg’s Gospel Album Helped Him Through “Sad” Times

In a moment of vulnerability, Snoop Dogg opened up to HH about how sometimes he gets a bit down, “I cry. I’m sad a lot,” the legendary rapper told us. Life’s “problems and issues” sometimes weigh on the 46-year-old, but thankfully, his new project, Bible Of Love helped to lift his spirits.

The double-disc album, 32-track, gospel album is the first of its kind from Snoop, and while not everyone is receptive, the Doggfather knows he’s fulfilling his purpose. “I stepped in the world (of gospel) to say, hold on, let me take my light … and put it on this gospel gang with some of the most extraordinary singers you’ve ever heard in your life,” Snoop stated.

And that he did!
