Justin Bieber Pulls Plug On Remainder Of Purpose Tour … Is It Because He’s Over It?
Justin Bieber slapped fans with some disappointing news on Monday when he announced that he’s canceling the final leg of his Purpose tour.
The singer’s team released a statement confirming that the last 15 show dates from the singer’s trek has been called off due to “unforeseen circumstances.”
Due to unforeseen circumstances, Justin Bieber will cancel the remainder of the Purpose World Tour concerts. Justin loves his fans and hates to disappoint them. He thanks his fans for the incredible experience of the Purpose World Tour over last 18 months. He is grateful and honored to have shared that experience with his cast and crew for over 150 successful shows across 6 continents during this run. However, after careful consideration he has decided he will not be performing any further dates. Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase.
And while his team is remaining vague about the shocking decision, insiders aren’t so surprised with the move. One source told Variety, “It wasn’t a decision made overnight. He’s had some time off and was able to consider his commitments.” Another insider told TMZ that the Biebs was just “over it.”
The good news is, while many fans are upset, another group of Beliebers are supportive.
Justin’s decision comes after a string of onstage outbursts. Back in 2016, Justin blew up on fans after complaining about them being “too loud.” He later defended his antics, writing on Twitter: “There’s times when I get upset … times when I get angry, there’s times when I’m going to be frustrated. But I’m always going to be myself on this stage.”
