Forbes has officially named Diddy the highest paid celebrity in the entertainment industry.
Last month, the publication listed the rapper as the richest hip hop artist of 2017 and now, the New York rapper is soaring at the top of the highest paid list, all thanks to his deals with Ciroc, his Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour and his Sean John clothing line. Diddy sold 1/3 of the fashion line for a cool $70 million … so that might tell ya something.
The rapper sat at No. 22 in 2016, so we’d say his entrepreneurial mindset is on point.
Falling at No. 2 on Forbes’ list, Beyonce, who, according to the outlet, pulled “nine figures thanks largely to her Formation Tour” which grossed a “quarter of a million dollars.”
Drake made the list at No. 4 after becoming the most streamed artist over the past 12 months. The Weeknd, who clocked 5.5 billion streaming spins in the last two years, also made the list at No. 6.
