Serena Williams is defending her sister Venus after seemingly unveiling the sex of her unborn child.

During an interview with Eurosport earlier this week, Venus referred to the child as “she,” which instantly led to claims she accidentally unveiled the sex of the soon to be bundle of joy. But for Serena, there is a full explanation behind the phrase “she.”

On Thursday morning, the pregnant tennis pro released a full dissertation about her sister’s remarks. “To clarify what Venus said, I am always joking with my sisters to see what favors I can get them to do for me next,” she wrote. “If I want something from one of my sisters I say baby Venus baby Lyn, or Baby Isha needs it.”

She added, “I did not grow up with any brothers, only sisters and we all say ‘she’ more than ‘he.’ Unless I’m joking with my Dad or Alexis and I’m trying to con something out of them too.”

So the wait continues.

Serena and her fiancé, Alexis Ohanian, are expecting their first child together later this summer.

CodeBlack Could Redeem Itself With New Omar Epps, Paula Patton Flick

No shade to CodeBlack Films, but it’s last flick, All Eyes On Me, was kind of a disaster. From the poor ratings and reviews, to stars like Jada Pinkett Smith and 50 Cent slamming the film, folks just weren’t feeling it.

But that may all change with their new movie Traffik. The action-packed thriller slated for theaters April 27, 2018 stars Omar Epps, Paula Patton and Laz Alonso, and it looks pretty darn good.

In the film, Brea (Paula Patton) and John (Omar Epps) are off for a romantic weekend in the mountains. Isolated at a remote estate, the couple are surprised by the arrival of two friends, another couple, Darren (Laz Alonso) and Malia (Roselyn Sanchez). Just when the weekend starts to get back on track, a violent biker gang turns up and begins to torment them. The foursome are forced to fight for their lives against a gang who will stop at nothing to protect their secrets.

The film is written and directed by Deon Taylor. Patton is also a producer.
