All Eyez On Me had a relatively successful opening weekend.

Coming in at No. 3 at the box office, the Tupac Shakur biopic raked in an estimated $27.1 million over Father’s Day weekend. But the ratings told a different story.

Not only did Rotten Tomatoes gave the film a low 24% rating, but fans completely blasted the Benny Boom project on Twitter. Many critics went after the movie for its inaccuracy in regard to what really took place in the ’90s, i.e. fashion and technology.

The day of the film’s release, Jada Pinkett Smith also called out the film for its poor portrayal of her and Pac’s friendship. The actress listed off a series of storylines that movie got wrong, including the idea that they never got into a fight backstage.

50 Cent also called the film ‘bullsh*t.” He wrote on Instagram: “Man I watched the 2 PAC film, that was some bullshit. Catch that shit on a fire stick trust me. LOL SMH TRASH.”
