The Balch Springs Police Department, the same police department that shot and killed 15-year-old Jordan Edwards just two weeks ago, is now under fire for using a taser on an unarmed Black man. Leaked body cam footage shows a White officer using the taser on Marco Stephenson, who is already detained and completely compliant at the time of the assault.

The video was reportedly leaked to Fox 4 by another officer who has since been fired. The officers were reportedly responding to a call about a man waving a gun in the neighborhood. That man is cuffed and following the officers’ commands before one of the them sends volts of electricity through his body.

The incident happened before the Jordan Edwards shooting but was leaked to police after the murder of the unarmed teen. The sergeant who used the taser in the video was reprimanded and is not allowed to deal with the public until he finishes classes on conflict resolution and anti-bias.

Stephenson, while compliant, has over 35 documented run-ins with the law and been arrested over a dozen times.

Music’s most amazing night went down Sunday at the Microsoft Theater in L.A. and we have to say the night was all about the ladies!

That’s right the 45th American Music Awards had some major moments and some major girl power starting with Pink and Kelly Clarkson.

The duo got the show started singing R.E.M.’s “Everybody Hurts”, but it was their solo performances that had fans going nuts.

Kelly Clarkson returned to the stage and had everyone on their feet with a medley of her classic tracks and new single “Love So Soft.”

While Pink took her career to new heights leaping off the side of a building while performing her hit single “Beautiful Trauma.”

Christina Aguilera, paid tribute to Whitney Houston with a commemorative performance for the 25th anniversary of The Bodyguard.

But the #Majah moment of the night had to be Diana Ross. The Motown legend was given the Lifetime Achievement Award, and performed some of her greatest hits before accepting the honor.
