Professional skater Rob Dyrdek took to Twitter on Tuesday night to respond to the passing of his dear friend, Christopher “Big Black” Boykin.

Rob kicked off a series of tweets with, “My heart is broken. I don’t want write this post. I don’t want to believe that this is reality. I am so thankful for you.”

Details surrounding Boykin’s death are unclear, but it’s reported that the 45-year-old suffered a heart attack.

Rob continued, “We truly were brothers that lived an unexpected unforgettable adventure. I just can’t fathom that it would end so suddenly. You will forever be in my heart.”

Dyrek also shared a snapshot of Big Black holding his son, writing: “I am so thankful for this moment… thank you for being an amazing human being and brother.”

Boykin once worked as Rob’s best friend/bodyguard and starred alongside the skater on MTV’s Rob & Big.

CodeBlack Could Redeem Itself With New Omar Epps, Paula Patton Flick

No shade to CodeBlack Films, but it’s last flick, All Eyes On Me, was kind of a disaster. From the poor ratings and reviews, to stars like Jada Pinkett Smith and 50 Cent slamming the film, folks just weren’t feeling it.

But that may all change with their new movie Traffik. The action-packed thriller slated for theaters April 27, 2018 stars Omar Epps, Paula Patton and Laz Alonso, and it looks pretty darn good.

In the film, Brea (Paula Patton) and John (Omar Epps) are off for a romantic weekend in the mountains. Isolated at a remote estate, the couple are surprised by the arrival of two friends, another couple, Darren (Laz Alonso) and Malia (Roselyn Sanchez). Just when the weekend starts to get back on track, a violent biker gang turns up and begins to torment them. The foursome are forced to fight for their lives against a gang who will stop at nothing to protect their secrets.

The film is written and directed by Deon Taylor. Patton is also a producer.
