There’s nothing like a sisterly bond … especially when they spill each other’s secrets. Awww, yes, gotta love siblings.
Serena Williams’ pregnancy has been one of the most talked about entertainment news stories of the year and now, fans are learning the sex of the tennis professional’s baby — all thanks to her older sister, Venus.
During an interview with Eurosport at the French Open at Roland Garros in Paris, Venus was asked what the baby will call her. Her response was nothing less than the spilling of some major beans.
“She’s going to call me ‘favorite aunt,'” the 36-year-old said. “We’re all like, ‘Baby V, baby Lyn, baby Isha.’ We all want the baby to be named after us.”
Whelp, there ya have it … looks like Serena is going to have a little daughter.
Earlier this week, Venus made headlines after suggesting also during an interview that she is a little nervous about becoming an auntie. “I don’t know yet, that’s the problem … I don’t know how well I’m going to do, because I don’t know what to do,” Venus said. “I think you just have to be ready, aware and alert. Then have a lot of diaper duty.”
Serena and her fiancé, Reddit cofounder Alexis Ohanian, are expecting their first child together this summer.
