L.A. Reid’s unexpected exit from Epic Records left many questioning why the music exec. would leave so abruptly. Now we’re hearing a sexual assault accusation may be the reason.

Reid’s ousting hit the ‘net on Thursday, but just a few days later word of his allegedly inappropriate actions became the top story. The New York Post broke the story:

The 60-year old music industry veteran allegedly made inappropriate physical advances toward an assistant at last December’s company holiday party, among other instances, according to a March 22 letter a lawyer for the woman sent to Julie Swidler, Sony Music’s General Counsel, said a source who provided details from the letter.

Unfortunately, that’s not it. The letter also alleged that Reid asked the assistant to “lie down in bed with him and give him a hug while the two were at a hotel while traveling on business.”

Sony Music has only given one statement in regards to Reid departure: “L.A. Reid will be leaving the company.”

L.A. has remained mum on the accusations, but the married music man has been telling friends that he’s considering a move to Warner Music Group.

It’s no secret that Drake’s been on a giving spree while in Miami. From college kids to hotel workers and everyone in between, the rapper has been changing lives one dollar at a time — and now we can see it all in action.

Clearly, it was “God’s Plan” for Drizzy to take his entire budget for his music video and spend it on various residents and workers in Florida’s hot spot city. That’s right almost a million bucks — $996,631.90 to be exact — was slotted for Drake to shoot the visuals for his latest hit but instead he used all the money to make a difference. And in doing so, he made us cry … multiple times. Just watch the video below.

In a statement the self-professed “6god” said this video was “the most important thing” he’s ever done. We’d agree.
