Jay Z is taking this whole “forever young” thing to heart … and the stage. The 47-year-old rap legend plans to continue touring until he’s well into his 50s and maybe beyond. Get out of the way, you young whipper-snappers!
The Jigga Man is still cranking out earth-shattering deals and shows no signs of slowing. This time around, the businessman inked a deal with Live Nation for $200 million. Under the new tour partnership deal, Live Nation will produce and promote Jay Z concerts worldwide for the next decade.
According to PageSix, “the deal is an extension of Jay’s deal with the entertainment giant. ‘Live Nation and I entered unchartered territory in 2008,’ Jay said in a statement, ‘Over nine years, we have traveled the world producing historic music experiences.'”
Rumor has it, Mr. Carter will be announcing a major tour by the end of this year.
