Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are hanging on to their marriage, but according to one report, it was touch and go for a while.

Apparently, it was during the couple’s string of personal woes that their relationship started to unravel. First, it was the Paris robbery that shook that family to their core. The traumatic experience, which, according to Kim, could have led to her untimely death, was followed by Kanye’s mental breakdown.

The back-to-back life-changing moments, unfortunately, led to the downfall of their marriage. “They went through a really rough time there for awhile,” a source close to Kanye told People. “It was really touch and go. She was dealing with the robbery and all that came after, and she felt like he wasn’t there for her. He was going through his issues around the holidays, and he felt like she wasn’t prioritizing him.”

The insider continued, “Things were just awful between the two of them, but also with both of them separately. It was like for the first time, they just weren’t happy. I don’t think they were happy separately, and I know they weren’t happy together.”

According to the insider, “It’s like the two of them were dangling on a rope off a cliff, and they used every single thing they had to find solid ground. They clawed their way back to somewhere a lot more healthy, and they’re still clawing their way back. There are good days and there are bad days.”

But despite their woes, it was Kim who really fought to keep their marriage alive. “She kept saying, ‘If we can get through this, we’ll be stronger than ever,'” the source said. “They never fell out of love with each other, but it was just one of those times where marriage is hard work, and you have to push through the pain.”

But now, the couple is doing just fine. “Kim and Kanye are in a great place,” a separate source told the publication. “They are just so happy. He’s doing really great.”

Kim attended the Met Gala earlier this week solo, but looked to be on cloud nine and in good spirits.

To say Wonder is a must see movie is an understatement! Not only will the film touch you and inspire you to be a better person, it will also entertain you from start to finish.

But don’t take our word for it. HipHollywood sat down with the film’s stars Julia Roberts and Owen Wilson who shared their excitement to bring this heartwarming story to life and how they channeled their real-life parenting skills into the role.

“I think we felt a responsibility to be authentically parents and authentically parents to these two kids, said the 50 year old mother of three. “And I think that’s why you really believe these four people are family and are really having this experience together.”

In the film based on the NY times best seller, Roberts and Wilson play the parents of a teenage daughter (Izabela Vidovic) and 10-year-old boy (Jacob Tremblay) with facial differences entering mainstream elementary school for the first time.

When asked if they had any advice for their ten year old selves, Roberts said: “I have a ten year old son and I tell him to run.”

Meanwhile Wilson says he remembers 5th grade vividly, and enjoyed having his brother Andrew Wilson at the same school to protect him. “It helped so much having an older brother who was already at the school, so that would be the advice I’d give, have a cool older brother.”

Wonder hits theaters November 17, just one day before Wilson’s 49th birthday.
