Fashion’s biggest night out went down on Monday during the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute gala — and your favorite celebs were in attendance … well, everyone except Beyonce.

This year’s theme was “Rei Kawakubo / Comme des Garcon: Art of the In-Between” which in layman’s terms means avant garde … and this year’s looks were definitely unorthodox.

Here are the ones we thought were hot and the ones that had us bothered. Let’s start with the hot.

LaLa Anthony brought the drama, honey, and we aren’t talking about her personal life. This Thai Nyugen Ateiler dress gave a gothic spin to the usual naked dress.

Meanwhile, Mary J. Blige brought her revenge body to the Met Gala and showed all types of skin in this sexy LaPerla Couture number.

Halle Berry made up for her disastrous appearance at the Oscars in this lace cat suit and out-of-this-world train by Atelier Versace.

Rita Ora looked like a gift you never want to unwrap in this red Marchesa creation.

Kerry Washington got edgy in this Michael Kors patchwork dress…. and that bob needs a round of applause.

Rihanna never fails to stay on theme and look amazing year after year. This year’s dress, created by Comme des Garcon, was magical and magnificent.

Chrissy Teigen also never has a dull red carpet moment and she gave us life in this black-and-white Marchesa gown.

Jennifer Lopez made jaws drop in this blue Valentino dress and Harry Winston jewels.

Ruth Negga didn’t come to play, y’all … hence the “Set It Off / Cleo” cornrows with her Valentino couture gown.

And neither did Priyanka Chopra, who shut down the carpet in this Ralph Lauren coat dress.

Meanwhile, Tracee Ellis Ross – we hate to do it this to you, girl, was giving all the wrong vibes. While she wore a Rei Kawakubo dress she looked more like Andre Leon Tally in a snuggy.

And speaking of snuggy, we weren’t feeling Pharrell’s wife Helen Lasichanh red dress … and neither was the internet.

Solange Knowles we’re sure skated her way into the Met Gala wearing a puffy Thom Browne coat dress.

Kim Kardashian bored us to tears in this white Vivienne Westwood dress … we get it, Kim, you’ve changed

And Bella Hadid had us scratching our heads over her Alexander Wang one piece … girl looks a ninja on that damn carpet.

Hot Or Bothered: Fashion At The 2017 American Music Awards

The night music fans have been waiting for is finally here! The 45th American Music Awards went down right Sunday night at Microsoft Theater in L.A. and a host of your favorite stars hit the red carpet in some looks that were hot and some that had us bothered … let’s start with the hot!

The evening’s host Tracee Ellis Ross sparkled and shined in this burgundy sequined Stella McCartney gown. We’re  sure her mother Diana Ross inspired this look.

Meanwhile her  sister-in-law Ashlee Simpson Ross dazzled in a sparkly number by Christian Siriano.

And of, the evening’s Lifetime Achievement Award winner and honoree – Diana Ross proved why she’s a music and fashion icon in this black gown and hat.

Selena Gomez showed off her killer bod wearing a Coach leather minidress and brand new platinum hair.

Also killing it in an LBD – that’s leather black dress, was Ciara wearing Alexandre Vauthier Haute Couture. Ok Ciara!

Demi Lovato looked like a goddess in this black sheer strapless gown by Ester Abner.

And, Kelly Rowland gave us grecian vibes in this velvet gown with embellished bodice.

But the look that stole the show  DJ Khaled’s son Asahd, looking super adorable in his tiny black suit and Gucci loafers that cost a whopping $275. That’s what we call winning at 1 year old.

But someone whose look was not winning … Nick Cannon. We’re not sure why he was dressed like a Bratz doll, but he needs to stop.

Sadly we also have to request that whoever dressed Pink in this awful tulle Monique Lhuillier dress be fired immediately. Sorry we love you Pink but this dress was a hot damn mess.
