HipHollywood can confirm that A$AP Rocky’s Los Angeles mansion was hit in an armed robbery on Tuesday night.

The Los Angeles Police Department tells us that around 11:30 p.m., officers responded to a call of a home invasion robbery. When they arrived, a woman, believed to be the cousin of Rocky, was on the scene and detailed exactly what went down.

We are told that the woman had just arrived to Rocky’s home and when she was attempting to leave again, she was confronted by three men, one of which was armed. The men forced her back inside the home where they led her to the rapper’s safe.

The suspects asked for her to open the safe, but she did not know the code. We are told that’s when the three men attempted to walk out with the safe, but were unable to carry it past the sidewalk.

The suspects, however, did manage to get their hands on $1.5 million worth of jewelry. A$AP was not home at the time.

The incident is currently under investigation and no suspects are in custody. As for who might be behind the robbery, sources tell TMZ it doesn’t appear to be a random act.

Rakim Mayers, the rapper’s legal name, has not responded to the robbery. As for his cousin, we are told she was uninjured.

Music’s most amazing night went down Sunday at the Microsoft Theater in L.A. and we have to say the night was all about the ladies!

That’s right the 45th American Music Awards had some major moments and some major girl power starting with Pink and Kelly Clarkson.

The duo got the show started singing R.E.M.’s “Everybody Hurts”, but it was their solo performances that had fans going nuts.

Kelly Clarkson returned to the stage and had everyone on their feet with a medley of her classic tracks and new single “Love So Soft.”

While Pink took her career to new heights leaping off the side of a building while performing her hit single “Beautiful Trauma.”

Christina Aguilera, paid tribute to Whitney Houston with a commemorative performance for the 25th anniversary of The Bodyguard.

But the #Majah moment of the night had to be Diana Ross. The Motown legend was given the Lifetime Achievement Award, and performed some of her greatest hits before accepting the honor.
