Kim Kardashian chronicled the aftermath of her Paris robbery on the famous family’s E! reality show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, but now, the mother of two is unveiling new information about the horrific night.
During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Kim said that the life-changing moment was “meant to happen to me.” She told the talk show host, “I’m such a different person. It was meant to happen to me.”
She continued, “Things happen in your life to teach you things. I was definitely materialistic before. Not that there’s anything bad with having things and working hard to get those things … but I”m so happy that my kids get this me. I just don’t care about that stuff anymore.”
As for once showing off her prized items such as her multi million engagement ring or latest expensive whip, Kim said “it’s just not worth it” anymore to flaunt it. “It’s ok if you are proud of it, it’s just not who I am anymore,” the 35-year-old revealed.
In October 2016, robbers entered Kardashian’s Paris apartment, bound, tied and gagged her before taking off with millions of dollars worth of jewelry. Now, the reality takes her security much more serious.
“My whole life has changed as far as how I travel,” she explained. “I never thought I would need security outside more door.”
