We all remember where we were the moment news broke of Prince Rogers Nelson’s death. For me, I was sitting at my desk at work when my boss called with the shattering report. It’s hard to believe that it was one year ago that the world lost a legend.

Prince died on April 21, 2016, at the age of 57 of a reported opioid overdose. The singer was found unresponsive inside an elevator at his Paisley Park Estate in Chanhassen, Minnesota. Medical crews attempted to perform CPR, but were unable to revive the singer. Prince was pronounced dead at 10:07 a.m.

Prince’s legacy will live on forever and today, in honor of the late icon’s death, dozens of celebrities took to social media to pay tribute to the man who helped shape music.

Endless sauce. R.I.P. Purple One. Can’t believe it’s been a year. ☔️#RIPPrince

How could you not look into those beautiful she’s and be in a trance. If I ever go to his home, his heels and clothes, would be my highlight. No one could wear and outfit like prince. Rest in heaven

More details are starting to unravel about Lil Rel Howery’s new Fox show, Rel.

The actor, who made a huge splash in Hollywood following his appearance in the Academy Award winning film, Get Out, tells us his forthcoming series is based off of “my material, my life. I’m executive producing it along with Jerrod Carmichael.”

It was also confirmed on Tuessay that comedian Sinbad and Instagram sensation, Jessica “Jess Hilarious” Moore have been added to the cast.

According to Deadline, Sinbad will play Rel’s father who cares “more about his reputation in the community than he does about the happiness of his sons.”

As for Jess, the personality who is known for her outspoken and witty commentary on social media, will be the female lead alongside Howery. Jess will be replacing Angel Laketa Moore, who was first tapped to play the role.

After the initial announcement, Moore wrote on Instagram: Let’s Go!!! 2018.”

The show will follow Rel’s personal life experiences and personal woes, including maneuvering adulthood after his wife cheats on him with his own barber.

As Rel, meanwhile, gets underway, Lil Rey has a handful of projects to look forward to. He tells HipHollywood that Uncle Drew starring Kyrie Irving and Shaquille O’Neal comes out with June 29th. Howdy is also excited about the film he just shot with Sandra Bullock, Bird Box.
