According to TMZ, Too $hort is the suspect in a rape case involving one of his own artists. The alleged victim is a protege of the rapper who has done videos and other projects with him.

The unidentified woman claims that on November 1 she was at an L.A. residence with the rapper when he allegedly sexually attacked her. She told cops she’s a virgin and despite her provocative videos she did not give any form of consent.

The woman went to law enforcement officials a month after the alleged incident. Now, there’s always two sides to every story though. Too $hort, real name Todd Shaw has not been in touch with police.

Sources close to the Oakland-bred rapper say he’s vehement he never had sexual contact with the alleged victim. The sources say she was on his record label but was eventually dropped, and that’s coincidentally when she made up this allegation. They even say the victim tried to get back on the label, and Short thinks this as a form of extortion.

Charlamange, along to co-host, DJ Envy, repeatedly asked the reality star what was her “struggle”, ignorantly assuming that colorism isn’t a thing anymore because of all the advancements in the entertainment industry that have occurred. Yet, and still, you don’t see artist of Amara’s hue celebrated on any Latina platform such as Univision or Telemundo. The host, with the exception of Angela Yee, then proceeded to deduce Amara’s issue to being a problem that’s “all in (her) head”, even referencing the success of Cardi B. as evidence of La Negra’s delusion.
