Kim Kardashian was forced to relive one of the most life-changing events of her life on Sunday. The reality star watched herself retell the story of being robbed at gunpoint during a new episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, an episode unlike any other.
Several days after robbers entered the beauty’s Paris apartment, bound, tied and gagged her before taking off with millions of dollars worth of jewelry, cameras captured the beauty recounting the moments she thought her life was going to end.
“I slid off my bed and picked up my phone and I’m like, ‘I don’t know how to call 911 in a different country,'” she recalled during Sunday night’s episode. “And so I called Pascal and then the guy came and grabbed the phone from me, threw me on the bed and I was like, ‘This is it.’”
The mother of two took to Twitter following the emotional program to share with fans how she was able to move forward with life. “I took a tragic horrific experience and did not let it diminish me, rather grew and evolved and allowed the experience to teach me,” she wrote.
She added, “I can say I’ve become so much better because of it….thank you for allowing me to share my story tonight #KUWTK.”
Prior to the airing of the show, Kanye West’s wife tweeted: “Tonight’s episode is going to be very tough for me. However, I thought it was important to share this story through my eyes & not in an interview where my own words could be twisted.”
Kardashian explained that she’s “always shared so much & I’m not going to hold back when this was probably one of the most life changing experiences for me.”
