Stunning? Or Weird? The Naked Ciara Pregnancy Photo Fans Are Puzzled By
A pregnant Ciara is stripping down for the new issue of Harper’s Bazaar and showing off her growing baby bump while posing nude. But while many expecting mothers capture the joys of pregnancy through the lens, there are few photos fans are now questioning.
In a series of images, a glowing Cici poses alongside her 2-year-old son, Future Jr., while beaming from ear to ear. But one snapshot shows a naked 7-month-pregnant singer, holding her naked son, while her shirtless husband, Seattle Seahawks’ quarterback Russell Wilson, wraps his arms around them.
The artistic photo, however, led to a firestorm of comments from fans suggesting it’s a little weird.
One social media user wrote: “These celebrities be really pushing the envelope. Too many pedophiles out here. Why’s it necessary to be naked. Photographers probably pushing their “creative” vision. Just because Beyonce pulled off a pregnancy nude everybody trying too. SMDH.”
Another comment read: “Not being mean just that’s kinda weird.”
Someone else wrote: “I think everyone does maternity photos differently. Typically and traditionally, it would the man kissing the belly or the couple holding baby shoes lol. To me it’s weird to fully naked or half naked in the photo. Not to say being pregnant isn’t sexy , but it’s not supposed to be slightly seductive. Just me though lol. All options wanted.”
In the issue of the fashion magazine, the 31-year-old opens up about becoming a second time mother and of course, her new life with Wilson. “If someone’s not supporting you and your vision and your dreams,” Ciara said. “Whether it’s your relationship partner, your friend, whomever, then you’ve got to make sure to keep it moving. If people aren’t lifting you up, even if you’re the strongest person in the world, eventually it does chip away at you.”
She added about her husband, “You don’t even realize that you’re losing yourself. And that’s the scariest place to be in life… I don’t want to lose myself. I love myself too much. I love life too much.”
