Where did Eddie Murphy vanish to?

The actor casually deleted his Twitter account on Wednesday after teasing a possible Coming to America sequel.

Murphy shared a photo of Imani Izzi (Vanessa Bell Calloway) with the caption, “Coming to America sequel?” But before fans could even get a chance to start asking the comedian questions, the new father up and deleted his entire social media account.

It’s unclear why Eddie walked away from the platform, but at least he went out with a bang.

It’s been nearly 30 years since the release of the hit 1988 comedy, which also starred Arsenio Hall, Eriq La Salle and James Earl Jones.

A sequel would be fantastic, but of course, the rest of the cast and crew would need to be onboard for it to really take off. So where are they now?

Jones is 86 years old and still living large. In 2012, the actor was nominated for a Tony Award for his role in The Best Man.

Arsenio is also alive and kicking, so we have no doubt he’d be down to join. As for Eriq, he might be busy promoting his new film, Logan, but that shouldn’t stop him from teaming up with his former cast mates to deliver a kick-butt sequel.
