Mariah Carey Defends Relationship With Nick Cannon With This Vague Message
Mairah Carey posted a vague message on Twitter over the weekend regarding her relationship with ex-husband, Nick Cannon.
It’s unclear what exactly led to the seemingly cryptic tweet, but the singer’s post was in response to what she called “false allegations looming in the press.”
“There’s no validity to the false allegations looming in the press regarding our family,” she shared.. “Nick is the father of my children, we will always stand up for each other, have each other’s backs and we will always remain a strong family.”
Nick retweeted Carey’s message and added, “Salute to the Queen!”
The so called “false allegations” could be over a number of tabloid reports, but there’s a good chance its about the recent National Enquirer article which Nick also recently blasted.
According to the publication, Carey is concerned about Cannon’s mental health and so for the sake of their 5-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan, she wants full custody.
“MORE LIES!!! So the @enquirer wants to play around with my children,” the comedian wrote last week. “Only Evil operates in this manner. What is the purpose? Except to exemplify pure immoral wickedness. If you report these lies expect a slander and defamation lawsuit. Look everyone, see how the media is trying to break a King?”
He added, “It’s all good though, I’m a warrior! I was built for this! Me and my family, my mindset, and my spirit are all stronger than ever. I felt like releasing this so called ‘journalist’ info to the public so you all can get at them, but instead I release nothing but positive energy into the Universe. No weapon formed against me shall prosper! I receive help through prayer and patience! #Blessed #Awakened.”
Cannon, meanwhile, just welcomed a baby boy with on-again off-again girlfriend, Brittany Bell.
