Well, this is an odd couple…

Lil Yachty and singer/songwriter Carly Rae Jepsen were spotted getting quite close and cuddly … but not for the reason you may think. The two entertainers are teaming up for Target!

With the help of super-producer Mike WiLL Made-It, Jepsen and Yachty are reinventing the classic hit “It Takes Two,” for an imaginative 3-minute Target ad running during The Grammys telecast. “The spot finds Carly, Lil Yachty and friends taking over a Target store as it becomes a product-filled playground. The vision was brought to life with the help of award-winning director Roman Coppola and choreographer Mandy Moore, who’s in the spotlight for her work on La La Land,” so says the popular retail chain.

No shade to CodeBlack Films, but it’s last flick, All Eyes On Me, was kind of a disaster. From the poor ratings and reviews, to stars like Jada Pinkett Smith and 50 Cent slamming the film, folks just weren’t feeling it.

But that may all change with their new movie Traffik. The action-packed thriller slated for theaters April 27, 2018 stars Omar Epps, Paula Patton and Laz Alonso, and it looks pretty darn good.

Peep the trailer below.

In the film, Brea (Paula Patton) and John (Omar Epps) are off for a romantic weekend in the mountains. Isolated at a remote estate, the couple are surprised by the arrival of two friends, another couple, Darren (Laz Alonso) and Malia (Roselyn Sanchez). Just when the weekend starts to get back on track, a violent biker gang turns up and begins to torment them. The foursome are forced to fight for their lives against a gang who will stop at nothing to protect their secrets.

The film is written and directed by Deon Taylor. Patton is also a producer.
