About a decade ago, the beef between Jay Z and Jim Jones (which really began as beef between Jay Z and Cam’ron) was at its height. Both of the rappers put their feelings on wax, dropping diss track after diss track about each other. But, now it’s 2017 and the beef has been squashed … but how?

While at the Roc Nation pre-Grammy brunch, Jones, the label’s newest signee, opened up to HipHollywood about moving past his feud with the Jigga man in order to take his career to the next level — all it took was a simple chat. “A real ni**a conversation,” is how Jim described his encounter with Hov. “You look a person in the eyes and you can feel somebody’s energy … I guess [he] felt my pain and [he] knew where I was trying to go,” the former Dipset rapper recounted. And just like that Jones has a new record deal, working on a new album and ready to focus all of his efforts on himself for a change.

Also, while at the Roc Nation brunch, folks couldn’t help but talk about another Jay Z production … his twins with Beyoncé! The mere mention of Queen Bey’s name had the black carpet buzzing with excitement. Check it out in the video below.

Girl Power Prevails At The 2017 American Music Awards

Music’s most amazing night went down Sunday at the Microsoft Theater in L.A. and we have to say the night was all about the ladies!

That’s right the 45th American Music Awards had some major moments and some major girl power starting with Pink and Kelly Clarkson.

The duo got the show started singing R.E.M.’s “Everybody Hurts”, but it was their solo performances that had fans going nuts.

Kelly Clarkson returned to the stage and had everyone on their feet with a medley of her classic tracks and new single “Love So Soft.”

While Pink took her career to new heights leaping off the side of a building while performing her hit single “Beautiful Trauma.”

Christina Aguilera, paid tribute to Whitney Houston with a commemorative performance for the 25th anniversary of The Bodyguard.

But the #Majah moment of the night had to be Diana Ross. The Motown legend was given the Lifetime Achievement Award, and performed some of her greatest hits before accepting the honor.
