Donald Trump’s Star Vandal Escapes Jail With Plea Deal
James Otis won’t be spending a day behind bars for vandalizing Donald Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
On October 26, 2016, James Otis took a pickax to the then presidential candidate, Donald Trump’s, star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The pickax crushed the star completely and our hero (oops, villian) James had to answer in court yesterday to vandalism charges.
Otis plead no contest to the charges, was placed on 3 years probation and was ordered to pay the Hollywood Historic Trust and the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce a sum of $4,400, which is probably the cost of repairing the damage and replacing portions of the star, as well as do 20 days of Caltrans work.
Shame on you James!
Otis shattered Trump’s star to protest him running for president.
