Big Sean doesn’t address rumors often, but when the gossip is about the Detroit native getting smacked by a fan, you better believe he is going to shut it down immediately.

Sean was signing autographs over the weekend when he apparently got into an altercation with a male fan. But the situation didn’t go down as folks initially suggested.

“Some guy waited in line in the cold since 10am, bought my CD, when I signed his CD n shook his hand he TRIED to hit me off guard,” Big Sean wrote in a series of tweets. “The dude was released from a mental hospital last week, has a long record of mental illness n was off his meds. Very serious issues.”

Jhene Aiko’s boyfriend continued, “He claimed he had wrote songs for Michael Jackson, Jay Z n was wit Birdman etc. I’m hoping he’s getting the proper treatment he needs.”

According to the 28-year-old, he “wanted to keep the signing going but the store shut it down. Sorry it got ruined for the rest of the real fans.”

The rapper concluded by reminding his 10.2 million Twitter followers that “I got the #1 Album in the country currently and am grateful for every listener who got love for me. Everyday a dream come true .”

Whelp there ya have it people … Big Sean didn’t not get his butt handed to him.

Cosby did a set on Monday at LaRose Jazz Club in Philly and poked fun at his visual impairment amongst other personal anecdotes. He didn’t touch his pending trial, but many suspect his resurgence into the public eye is all a ploy to revitalize his image.

Just two weeks ago Cosby attended a dinner with friends and let reporters tag along to ask questions and take photos. This time around Cosby announced on his Facebook that he’d be doing a set a couple hours before. He wore a sweatshirt that said “hello friend” and also played the drums alongside the Tony Williams Jazz Quartet.

Folks in the audience are laughing … so maybe it’s working.

#BillCosby has returned to comedy since his trial last summer.

The disgraced comedian’s retrial on sexual assault charges is set to begin in April, and a new jury selection begins at the end of March. He averted a decision this past June when a jury couldn’t agree on a verdict … ending in a mistrial.
