Jamie Foxx is speaking out about new reports claiming he got his butt handed to him while out on the town over the weekend.

TMZ released cell phone footage on Monday of a fight between two groups of men at LA hotspot Catch. Per the news outlet, Jamie’s crew got into an altercation with some folks after they were asked to quiet down.

There was some chatter that Foxx actually got hit and “pulled down onto a table,” so Jamie decided to hop on social media to explain what really went down.

Holding a white towel to his eye, Jamie tells fans on Instagram “f*ck, the word is out, man. I know y’all heard about this sh*t and saw some videos. I just want to address what happened on Saturday from my perspective.”

“All I was trying to do was keep my eye on things, ” he said before BOOM — showing off his uninjured face. “I’m just f*cking with y’all, man. Everybody’s good. 2017, we don’t want no violence. We don’t want to get hurt and we don’t want nobody hurt. But if you want to see my whoop some ass, you know what you can do.”

He added, “Come check me. Friday the thirteenth. Sleepless. Come see your boy kick some ass for real.”

He captioned the hilarious video: “Gotta set the record straight. Can’t we all just get along? East coast west coast! Remember when they push and shove it’s only love!”
