White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer is a liar. But, instead of giving him that ugly, yet extremely accurate, title Trump aide Kellyanne Conway preferred to put a pretty little bow on it with “alternative facts.”

In an interview on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” host Chuck Todd pressed Conway about why the White House sent Spicer to the briefing podium, for the first time, to claim that “this was the largest audience to ever witness an inauguration, period.”
A clearly annoyed Conway tried to dodge the question several times before explaining, “You’re saying it’s a falsehood. And they’re giving — Sean Spicer, our press secretary — gave alternative facts.”
Thankfully Todd responded, “Alternative facts aren’t facts, they are falsehoods.” Slow. Clap.

Kellyanne may have thought “alternative facts” was a good response, but the Internet has taken the phrase and is trolling the life out of Conway. Again, the Internet will not be deafeated. Here are some of the best #AlternativeFacts memes.
