When it comes to falling in love, the number of dates before it becomes apparent love is in the air varies from woman to woman. But for Kelly Rowland and Meagan Good, it was very, very quick. In fact, it was under ten dates for both ladies.
On Monday night, Rowland and Good hit the red carpet for the premiere of their upcoming Lifetime movie, Love By The 10th Date, a movie that follows a group of women on a journey to find love in hopefully just ten dates.
So naturally, we asked the cast members when exactly did they fall in love. For Rowland and Good, their husbands made all the right moves because love was almost instant.
“I found my love, the love of my life by three [dates],” Rowland said about husband and baby daddy, Tim Witherspoon. “We recognized the energy in each other and it was kindred and it was needed and it was wanted from each other. It just kind of sparked.”
Good explained that she fell in love “pretty quickly” with her husband, DeVon Franklin. “We said I love you in the first two months and really because I was waiting for him. I already knew.”
For Keri Hilson, who once was involved in a long-term relationship with Serge Ibaka has had a different experience when it comes to falling in love. “I have not fallen in love, but I have felt a lot of care,” she said while releasing a big laugh.
As for the ten date concept, Hilson did admit that “it’s enough time to know whether or not you might be in love later. It’s enough time know whether it is or isn’t.”
The film, also starring Kellee Stewart, premiers on January 28th at 8pm on Lifetime.
