Dwight Howard loves nothing more than good D. Seriously, he said so himself.
The Atlanta Hawks superstar was doing a post game interview on Wednesday when he expressed to the sideline reporter that it was the D (defense) that led to their victory against the Chicago Bulls. “Our D was good tonight,” he said.
Instantly, Howard and his teammate, Dennis Schröder, who was standing close by, started laughing at the dirty reference. Sure, Howard was talking about DEFENSE, but the word D always turns an adult back to a 10-year-old child.
The reporter, who quickly realized which direction the interview was going, followed up by asking about how important the win was. Howard responded: “It’s very important, but it starts with the D.”
