Yass Meagan! We are all here for this!

Looks like Meagan Good will be starring as the 1974 “Foxy Brown” character in a new and upcoming Hulu series.

And can we just say, the only thing that’s killing us is the wait.

With the help of Malcolm Spellman, producer and writer for Empire, and Ben Watkins, producer and writer for Burn Notice, the duo will be co-writing the TV version as a 2016 remix of the original Foxy Brown, played by Pam Grier.

As long as they don’t take away that ‘fro, her independence, and black pride, Hulu can count us all the way in.

Good will not only be the star actress in the series, but she will also be the producer alongside her hubby, DeVon Franklin, who will be executive producing the show through his Franklin Entertainment company.

Good announced her new role on Instagram saying, “When I say God answers prayers 🙌🏾😭 .. #FaithWithoutWorksIsDead #FoxyBrown 👊🏾”

Eve Responds To Nicki Minaj’s Paper Magazine Cover: “I Just Don’t Think It’s Right.”

Looks like Eve isn’t holding back her opinions as the newest co-host of ‘The Talk’. On Wednesday’s show the ladies discussed Nicki Minaj’s racy Paper magazine cover, and Eve wasted no time giving her two cents.

“I worked with Nicki, I got to know her on ‘Barbershop’… she’s a nice person, she’s an amazing rapper, and as a lyricist I respect her… but as a woman, from my point of view, personally, I would not be able to do that. I think in this climate, it’s not good.

“I think every artist has a right to express themselves however they want to express themselves and I respect that as well,” she continued. “For me personally, as I started coming up in the business, I started realizing that young girls were looking up to me and younger people were looking up to me, and that, not that you want to be a role model, but it becomes what you become, it is what you are.”

She adds, “As I’ve gotten older… I’d just rather be a voice that’s uplifting… I can be a voice for those girls that might not have a voice, in a different way without showing myself off… For the Nicki fans, I love her, respect her. Go women in hip hop. It’s not my thing. I just don’t think it’s right.”

But Eve isn’t just giving her opinion. She’s talking from experience. The “pitbull in a skirt” was also on the cover of Paper magazine back in 2001 ( yes it’s been around that long) and opted to keep her cookies and cakes covered.
